Mark G. Phillips
Executive Director

Mark Phillips is a retired lawyer and trial consultant. He received his college and law degrees from the University of North Carolina and practiced in Boston for thirty years. He served in the U.S. Army in Germany, leading a technical team that worked on three nuclear warhead systems. He was Chair of the Board of the Boston Ballet School and Vice-Chair of the Boston Ballet Company. He founded Safe Schools New Hampshire in June 2018.

  • Neal Harris

    Board Member

    Neal Harris is a semi-retired professor of economics and business at Babson College. His primary research interests are European economics, Entrepreneurship and Environmental economics.  He is the former President of NCS Medical Systems. Neal has a Ph.D. in Business Administration and a M.B.A. from the University of Massachusetts (Amherst).

    Neal is the Chair of the Safe Schools Board.

  • Claudia Cords Damon

    Board Member

    Claudia Cords Damon is a retired lawyer at two of the leading law firms in New Hampshire. As the first woman lawyer and first shareholder at Sheehan, Phinney & Bass, she is a pioneer and role model for NH women lawyers.  In 2017 the NH Bar Foundation presented her with the prestigious Nixon-Zachos award for leadership in the law and her community. She served for many years as Chair of the Concord School Board, and was the first Chair of the Safe Schools Board.

  • Jean Nye

    Board Member

    Jean Nye retired as Senior Vice-President of Agilent Technologies in Santa Clara, CA and currently serves on the board of directors of Keysight Technologies, a public company. Between Princeton University and Harvard Business School she was the director of a nonprofit children’s museum in Savannah GA.

  • Richard Kimball

    Board Member

    Richard Kimball is a retired senior director at Bigelow LLC, a merger and acquisitions firm for midsized family companies.  Dick served as vice-chair and director of Rock of Ages Corp., the nation’s leading quarrier of specialty granites. He has also served on the Board of Directors of three other public and private companies and as trustee or director of many nonprofits including Babson College, the United Way and the American Management Assn.

  • Dellie Champagne

    Board Member

    Dellie Champagne works at CASA-NH. She received her B.A. and M.Ed. from the University of New Hampshire.  She serves on the Governor’s Task Force for Alcohol and Other Drugs and is on the Board of Directors for the Disability Rights Center and NFI North.  She was awarded the 2017 Champions for Mental Health Award and the 2019 Citizen of the Year Award from the NASW.

    Dellie is the Secretary of Safe Schools.

  • Molly Cutler

    Board Member

    After graduating from Wellesley College, Molly Cutler has divided her public service and nonprofit work between education and land protection. She served on the Harvard, MA School Committee for six years and co-chaired Harvard’s School Building Committee. 

    Molly is the Treasurer of Safe Schools.

  • Hope Damon

    Board Member

    Hope Damon is a NH state representative for Sullivan District 8.  She serves on the Education and Housing committees. Hope led the successful grassroots democracy campaign to restore the Croydon School District budget after a 53% cut in 2022. Hope is a retired dietitian and diabetes educator.  She was on the board of the NH Women’s Foundation for twelve years, and currently serves on the nonprofit board of Southwestern Community Services.

  • Megan Tupaj

    Board Member

    Megan Tupaj is a graduate student at Worcester Polytechnic Institute in Architecture, Architectural Engineering and Mathematical Sciences. In 2022, as a sophomore at WPI, she rowed on the varsity eights boat that won the NCAA rowing championship (Division 3). It was the first national championship in any women’s sport at WPI. Megan interned at Safe Schools from 2019-2023.
